Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,400 people in the UK. We are responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including new capabilities like the E-7 AEW&C and the P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Autonomous Systems, C4ISR Services, Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services and are very much in a growth phase..

Key Responsibilities:
The Integration &Test (I&T) Engineer will work under the guidance of team lead will contribute to the following:
- Support system integration and verification planning, test event coordination, and work package preparation
- Support readiness reviews, configuration validation, and software deployment coordination
- Track test activities, data capture, and issue reporting to support defect triage and resolution
- Collaborate with technicians, production engineers, and design engineers to ensure installation and test objectives are met
- Contribute to configuration and documentation management, ensuring traceability of test results
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to ongoing improvement of tools and workflows
- Track and report integration activity progress across aircraft using team schedules and readiness tools
- Help identify and mitigate integration risks
- Prepare updates for daily stand-ups, readiness reviews, and delivery checkpoints
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Systems, Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- The ability to obtain UK Security clearance
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in a technical role involving systems integration, electronics, or project engineering
- Familiar with electronic systems, embedded software, or mission systems (C2, Surveillance, Ground Systems)
- Basic coding or scripting skills (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
- Exposure to complex engineering environments (aerospace, defence, rail, automotive)
- Strong communication and coordination skills with an organised and methodical working style
- Comfortable working in secure, regulated, and multidisciplinary team environments
