Compensation
Boeing invests over $17 billion in pay every year to recognize and reward individual performance.
Equal Pay for Equal Work
We foster a diverse, collaborative and inclusive environment that empowers you to do your best. Equal pay for equal work is a foundational element of our approach. We take action through ongoing pay reviews to ensure you’re compensated equitably throughout your career—independent of race, gender or ethnicity. It’s the right thing to do and makes us a better, more inclusive and higher-performing company.
Base pay
Your base pay is determined by a number of factors including the content and level of your daily work and the value of your contribution to the company. It is also influenced by the external marketplace and business environment.
Incentive Pay
Annual incentives are a cornerstone of our pay-for-performance culture. Generally, the better the company does, the better the incentive award opportunities. For most of our workforce, individual performance is also a factor in determining annual incentive payouts. We incorporate our values - with a particular focus on safety, quality, and integrity - into our evaluation of individual performance. We hold ourselves accountable to act ethically and in accordance with our values every day, because that is how we deliver on our commitments to each other, our customers and the world.
Recognition
Employees can also be recognized when going above and beyond normal job requirements in the form of cash awards, eCards, and reward points that can be redeemed for gift cards, branded merchandise, apparel and luxury items.
