The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior EMC Test & Evaluation Lab Technician to support Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited Laboratory supporting Boeing internal projects and external Clients. The role is based in Brisbane at our Wacol facility.

Responsibilities:

Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and technologies.
Coordinates test requirements, facilitates execution of test methods and capabilities.
Conducts tests, analyses data and documents results.
Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems.
Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs.
Coaches and trains others.

Experience/Qualifications

Test & Evaluation technical support and analysis.
Trade/tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Radiocommunications Technician.
Proficiency in analog, digital and RF Disciplines.
Familiarity with engineering change processes.
Ex Military Communications Technician experience desirable
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - Negative Vetting 1.
