The Boeing Company is seeking a Maintenance Planning and Modification Project Manager (Non-Management) in Victorville, CA and will be servicing the High Desert of Southern California.
We are a small team working with numerous suppliers to offer our customers unique options for modifications of their assets.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is an AOG organization and may be required to travel occasionally based on project needs.
POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:
Plans, researches, develops, analyzes, and designs retrofit and repair solutions that comply with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
Defines the procedures, special engineering, special tooling, kit requirements, work packages, and material requirements for accomplishment of inspections, modifications, improvement changes, and repairs of delivered products.
Provides guidance on modifications, maintenance, and repair of enterprise products.
Assists engineering staff in planning and incorporating improvements.
Responsible for Project Management, development, planning, implementation, and technical support activities related to maintenance, modifications, and repairs per established customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
Develops the scheduled visit plan and responds to customer issues.
Defines and manages resource requirements, parts inventory and parts availability with supply chain to support customer and project needs.
Identify parts, consumables, hazmat materials to support SOW.
Determine parts availability using Spares or ILS outside market
Handling of TATS material shipments, expedited counter to counter shipping
Perform technical research using REDARS, My Boeing Fleet (MBF), PRIMS and other maintenance data.
Establish and maintain contacts with suppliers for technical data support
Assist MRO and /or Boeing personnel with technical data ( drawings, maintenance docs), materials, components, and hazmat.
Organize and kit parts / assemblies in hangar to support build process
Assist with pricing / costs ( includes materials, transportation, storage, etc.. ) at project completion to assist with invoicing
Act as technical focal coordinating materials and related activities, including drawing interpretations, coordination with Service engineering for special circumstances, assisting personnel with organizing materials, parts.
Regularly contributes to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards.
Recognized as a job expert within the department/organization.
Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
Able to perform work with minimal direction and exercise latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
Assist with Hangar Operations including but not limited to Customer and Vendor escort on a controlled Airport Operations area, Loading and Unloading of Tooling, Equipment and Parts.
Assist with Kitting, organizing work areas, and maintenance of support equipment as needed.
This is an FAA Safety Sensitive position, which requires enrollment in Boeing Repair Station Random Drug pool.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Proficient Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle
Minimum of 3 years' experience do you have planning and executing maintenance activities
Minimum of 3 years' experience do you have with Retrofit, Repairs, Modifications & Maintenance
Able to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
Experience using Boeing Communications System (BCS)
Willing and able to physically support a variety of hangar and maintenance operations.
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
Ability to safely operate a Forklift

Summary Pay Range: $105,400 - 142,600
