Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for an Associate or Mid-Level USAF E-7 Manufacturing Planner, in Tukwila, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:
Associate
Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
Assists in tooling dispositions
Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope.
Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs
Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents
Deliver shipside reach-back support to production teams as needed to resolve issues and maintain workflow
Works under general supervision
Mid-Level
Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met
Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition
Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues
Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs
Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
Deliver shipside reach-back support to production teams as needed to resolve issues and maintain workflow
Works under general direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Level 2: AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 3: AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience planning in manufacturing execution systems (MES)
Experience in using ENOVIA / CATIA
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Security Clearance
BDS Manufacturing Planner experience
Experience using Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
Development program experience
Ability to perform minor electrical and electronic modifications
Proactive communication skillset

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Associate (Level 2) Summary pay range: $65,450 - $88,550
Mid-Level (Level 3) Summary pay range: $78,200 - $105,800

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
