Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Analyst (Level 4) to support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Phantom Works Division. The position provides an opportunity to work with an experienced, interdisciplinary engineering team to develop a unique system to meet challenging requirements on dynamic development programs. Boeing Phantom Works creates the next generation products, platforms, mission systems and services for the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business. We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies capabilities and platforms in Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers. Phantom Works focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers. Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments. This role will be based in Tukwila, WA.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineering and functional disciplines in an integrated team environment to execute program deliverables and develop new technologies and platform concepts.
- Assist in analysis and integration support of new programs and support of existing franchise programs.
- Support the integration of technical, cost, and schedule of engineering considerations and coordinate with Finance to resolve emergent issues in support of Engineering and Program Management teams.
- Coordination, management, and delivery of engineering contract line-item deliverables.
- Professionalism in dealing with senior leaders, persuasive written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Assist the Project Management Team for Integrated Research and Development (IRAD) projects and other shaping projects, as required
- Support MS&B Franchise Programs such as Advance E-7 and KC-46 with development program surge support to shape and keep the program sold.
- Coordinate with Supplier Management and Engineering teams to coordinate Strategic Partnership demonstrations
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in a technical field
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience demonstrating leadership skills (informal or formal)
- Experience engaging in senior level communication including presentation development and report outs
- 2 years or more of experience in project management and/or cost account management using Earned Value Management techniques.
- Experience in a role with or supporting BCA, BDS, BR&T, Government Operation and/or Boeing International.
- Prior history working in a classified environment.
- Master’s degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $126,650 - $171,350
