The Boeing company is seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join The Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization in Tukwila, WA; Arlington, WA; Berkeley, MO, or Mesa, AZ.
The Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization was formed with the mission of helping Boeing achieve our vision to protect, connect, and explore our world and beyond, safely and sustainably. The Sustainability Data Analyst will develop data-driven solutions to measure, manage, and reduce Boeing’s environmental footprint. This role will focus on key environmental metrics to enable our team, business units, and functional partners to make informed decisions that support a more sustainable future. The Sustainability Data Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine sustainability metrics that track progress against Boeing’s environmental commitments and meet regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring data quality and integrity while providing insights to drive continuous improvement.
Position responsibilities:
Lead the development, documentation, and delivery of key environmental metric reporting to support business objectives and sustainability reporting requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally to manage data collection and visualization to inform operational sustainability priorities and build business cases
Establish and maintain data quality standards and best practices across environmental metrics; support internal and external audit activities
Provide strategic input on long-term environmental goals and plans by evaluating the measurability and data readiness of proposed initiatives
Manage environmental data and dashboards to track achievement of enterprise goals, performance to plan, and return on investment
Critical skills for success:
Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings to develop insights and recommendations
Ability to translate evolving regulatory requirements into data and reporting solutions
Experience with data quality management, controls, stewardship, and governance; familiarity with environmental and reporting data platforms (e.g., Enablon, Workiva) is a plus
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills
Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional partners, including utility managers, policy and reporting, finance, and IT
Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills for internal and external audiences at all levels
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience with analytics and data communication suite and analytics/visualization tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
Experience working with large-scale, complex data sets
Experience in data governance, data quality management, and establishing data stewardship practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher
5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of experience in environmental data management, data analytics, and communicating large-scale complex data sets
Experience managing environmental data programs or sustainability reporting initiatives within a large enterprise, focused on water, waste, and energy metrics
Experience in leading the development and implementation of environmental initiatives across a large organization, including tracking progress, measuring outcomes, and ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals
Experience supporting internal and external environmental disclosures aligned with ESG frameworks and standards such as GRI, TCFD, CDP, or equivalent
Knowledge of water and waste reduction strategies and best practices

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Experience (Level 3): $90,100 - $129,950
Senior (Level 4): $114,750 - $165,600
