This senior electrical will serve on the USAF E-7 Program's Electronic Warfare - Self Protection team.
Primary job responsibilities will include:
Develops and validates complex sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components for the E-7 aircraft self protection systems
Develops, validates and verifies electromagnetic requirements for electrical\electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures via analysis, testing in a lab environment and in-flight.
Develops architectures to integrate complex systems and components into higher level systems and platforms.
Performs complex trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.
Defines and conducts critical tests of various kinds to validate performance of designs to requirements.
Manages appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues.
Supports project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and conducting appropriate reviews.
Generates major sections of proposals to support development of new business.
Works independently under minimal direction by leadership in accordance with established team priorities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
5 years or more of experience in avionics integration and/or electronics systems and/or RF systems
5 years or more experience working across cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
5 years or more of experience with developing, managing and working to system and subsystem levels of requirements
Ability to Obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance post start
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working with United States Department of Defense (DOD) as a customer
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Experience dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers
Strong collaboration and coordination skills

Summary Pay Range:
$128,350 - $173,650
