Find your future with us. The Boeing Company is seeking a Product Review Engineer, Entry Level for the P-8/E-7 Program in Tukwila, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze, develop, and approve rework/repair dispositions of BDS and BCA nonconforming products in all phases of production: supplier fabrication and assembly, receiving inspection, manufacturing integration and installation, modification, flight test, and delivery readiness.
Conducts static strength and fatigue analysis in conjunction with systems stress support.
Performs root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.
Works to resolve chronic and repetitive defects and provide Corrective Action.
Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) projects and design reviews.
Supports the development of engineering processes, methods, and tools.
Initiate design and process changes to correct design errors, resolve complex, chronic manufacturing problems, and to improve the Producibility of aircraft hardware.
Candidate will be an engineering representative on the Materials Review Board.
Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Candidate will provide on-site factory and field technical support including interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and documents.
Communicates proactively with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Design, Support Organizations, and management personnel.
Identifies Process improvements and production facility opportunities.
Exercises broad latitude in determining technical solutions.
Occasional business travel may be required.
Position is located in the Puget Sound region.
The candidate may work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as well as weekend or daily overtime.
This requirement varies from site to site and is typically covered on a rotation basis.
This position involves exposure to factory environment which includes stairs, trip hazards, high noise areas, chemical hazards
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearances, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. (Post Start)
This position is located in Tukwila, WA and does not offer relocation assistance. Applicants must reside in area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
This is a Union Position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as well as weekend or daily overtime.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Previous Product Review Experience including UPR Signature Authority.
Ability to research and resolve Production Build anomalies in a timely manner.
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
Ability to conduct defect investigation to identify and implement Corrective Action.
Technical Experience working on Commercial Aircraft.
CATIA V5 experience is a plus.
IVT Fly through Skills are preferred.

Summary Pay Range: $68,000 - $92,000
