Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has exciting opportunities for Associate (Level 2) and/or a Mid-Level (Level 3) Procurement Agents to join our United States Air Force (USAF) E7 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Program.
Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2:
- Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
- Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
Position Responsibilities - Mid-Level 3:
- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
- Experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
- Experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- Experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold
- Experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
- Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
- Experience working across multiple programs and locations
- Experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
- More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Level 2: $73,950 - $79,800
Level 3: $93,500 - $98,700
