The BCA Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering organization is looking for an experienced or senior-level Non-Destructive Evaluation Technical Analyst specializing in Materials, Process, and Physics to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) M&P Engineering team is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative technologies that push the boundaries of aerospace. Position Responsibilities:
- Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
- Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.
- Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
- Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications.
- Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes.
- Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.
- Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology.
- Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers.
- Works in a team environment.
- Develop probes and techniques for prototype parts.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
- Phased array ultrasonics experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Aerospace industry experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Experience do you have reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Current American Society for Nondestructive Testing/Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NDT) Certification in Eddy Current Testing
- Current American Society for Nondestructive Testing/Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NDT) Certification in Ultrasonics
- 3D modeling experience such as CATIA V5 or similar
- Composite ultrasonic inspection experience
- Robotics operation and programming experience
- Eddy current array experience
- Composite fabrication knowledge

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $65,450 - $88,550
Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 4): $78,200 - $105,800
