The Boeing Company’s Boeing Enterprise Security (BES) organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Security Design Specialist to join the Identity and Access Management team in Tukwila, WA; Arlington, VA; Hazelwood, MO; Kent, WA; Plano, TX; or Seal Beach, CA.
Step into an exciting operations support role in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Directory Services, where you will collaborate with experienced program managers, application architects, business system managers, and external technical consultants. Your focus will be on operational support and planning for Directory and Authentication controls, Active Directory (AD), and Azure Active Directory administration, as well as security architecture and compliance reporting.
In this role, you will leverage your skills in Windows Server support, Active Directory administration, PowerShell scripting, server and certificate maintenance, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) management, and familiarity with Dell servers and VMware.
We are looking for a self-starter with strong technical support skills, excellent team collaboration abilities, and effective verbal and written communication. You will regularly engage with multiple teams across the company to prioritize and successfully plan the deployment of Directory products and services, while providing daily operational support. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, be self-motivated, and effectively balance compliance and project work with the day-to-day challenges of a production environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Work as a System Administration for Windows Domain Controller Servers
Support directory administration supporting 15 on-premise Active Directory Domains
Provision administration to Azure Cloud and Google Cloud directories
Assist directory administration supporting Government and Commercial Cloud-based Azure/Entra directories
Support Google Cloud Directory Service
Support PowerShell scripting
Troubleshoot issues with Active Directory, Active Directory tools and services, Azure Active Directory and Domain Controller servers’ hardware
Provision, build, disposition and maintenance of Dell Physical and VMWare Virtual server systems.
Support major incident outages
Support new technology planning and deployments
Support on call rotation
Assist operational and compliance for all directory services
Support security audit regulations of SOX
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with Multiple Directory Services support including Windows AD, Azure/Entra AD, Cloud Administration, etc.
Experience troubleshooting customer support issues
Experience working in cross-functional team
Ability to support on call 7 x 24 rotation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Windows Server Administration
Experience with Windows Directory Administration
Experience with Azure and Cloud Administration
Experience with cybersecurity compliance
Experience with CMDB and Service Now
Experience with PowerShell
Experience with VMWare

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $98,600 – $142,600
