Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Inspector – E&P Electrical/Mechanical Systems B to support the Total Quality CDA team in Tukwila, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide inspection support to the modification, integration, check-out and testing activities for various military aircraft projects
- Also inspect mission systems installations, cabinet assemblies and electrical cable assemblies and installations
- Review and verify test setups, test operations and test results to insure conformance to applicable program objectives and engineering requirements
- Monitor the test operation and certify that it is conducted in accordance with approved techniques, practices and methods
- Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts assemblies or portions thereof, according to specification, process and procedures
- Perform audit/ surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes and procedures
- Support Manufacturing Self Examination activities in the factory and audit the associated processes
- Work with and interpret documents, drawings, schematics, manuals, specifications, sketches, planning and other similar written and/or verbal direction
- Perform maintenance activities working with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and functional test documents
- Use electronic work order and non-conformance systems for product acceptance and documentation
- Coordinate with representatives of other organizations to transmit and receive information and resolve problems
- Perform inspection and witness tests of structural, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic and facilities systems associated with the acceptance and testing of aircraft and mission systems
- Maintain permits, licenses and certifications as required
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 1+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Electrical and/or Mechanical Inspection experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $33.32/hourly – $55.97/hourly
