The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Mid-Level Versatile Technologist to join the team in Titusville, FL or Kennedy Space Center, FL.

In this unique and exciting role, you will be required to support the installation, set-up, and operational support with varying operating systems and hardware interfaces. You must have an advanced understanding of Information Technology (IT) concepts with the ability to think independently and create solutions with non-standard equipment. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture

• Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems

• Provides support for the design, validation, and configuration management of computing delivery systems

• Administers users’ system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements

• Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning

• Leads activities to install, configure, and maintain multiplatform systems hardware, software and components

• Leads activities to plan, develop, design, integrate, and maintain all computer applications

• Plans and coordinates highly complex software and hardware for enterprise release

• Ensures systems conforms with architectural objectives

• Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability

• Performs the restoration of complex computing service operations

• Performs complex system problem identification and resolution

• Leads activities to integrate security solutions into information systems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 - 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 10

• 3+ years Hardware installation and troubleshooting experience

• Experience with the VMware virtual network environment

• Experience with maintaining and configuring AD to include applying domain group policies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with System Backups and Network switch configuration

• Experience with PowerShell and scripts to automate deployment and integration of hardware and operating systems

• Experience in Agile Methodologies

• Experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support

• Experience with Linux

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $88,400 - $119,600

Security Clearance
