The Boeing Company is looking for a Product Acceptance Specialist to join the Quality team in Smithfield, PA. We focus on inspection, assembly and repair of electronic systems.
The selected candidates are responsible for, but not limited to, performing tasks in the areas including process, product and receiving inspection on sites, partnering with customers for discrepancy resolution, being actively engaged in improvement projects and corrective actions. Zero defect mindset and First Pass Quality are a top priority.

Position Responsibilities:
Verifies basic product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies using non-conformance system. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Reviews rework dispositions.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 2+ years of experience in knowledge of electrical systems, wire harness assemblies, connectors, and electronic component testing.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- 2+ years of proficiency in using tools like calipers, micrometers, and specialized electrical test equipment.
- 2+ years of experience identifying electrical anomalies, solder defects, conformal coating issues, or wire harness damage.
- 2+ years of ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Expertise in soldering and wire harness standards, such as IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001 (soldering), and IPC-A-620 (wire harness).
- 2+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 2+ years of experience understanding of conforming and non-conforming parts tagging and control requirements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $41,650 - $56,350
