Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Transportation Analyst to join our Transportation Management System (TMS) team in Seattle, WA.
This role supports enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units critical to the supply chain health, enabling production, and meeting various program needs. This is a new position due to increased growth on our Transportation Management System team. The Transportation Analyst will work to provide optimal solutions utilizing contracted carriers for all modes of transportation balancing schedule and cost.

Our team is currently looking for a Mid-Level Transportation Analyst.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee the governance of master data within the TMS, ensuring data integrity and compliance with established policies.
- Define and implement policies, procedures, and controls for effective data lifecycle management.
- Understand customer processes and identify requirements for user acceptance testing to verify system functionality, quality, and accuracy.
- Demonstrate knowledge of general database concepts and participate in peer-group reviews of designs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation using established document control procedures and guidelines.
- Train in Blue Yonder (TMS) and gain an understanding of the Transportation Simplification journey and future strategies to enhance stability, visibility, and cost reduction across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Functional Excellence, Supply Chain, and KNIL, to learn and implement effective strategies.
- Analyze transportation management processes to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Determine the most cost-effective methods for transporting goods while maintaining efficiency and timeliness.
- Collect, analyze, and make recommendations based on data regarding timeliness, cost, and transportation modes.
- Interpret and apply logistics policies, processes, and methodologies to support business initiatives.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 3+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation
- 3+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
- 3+ years of experience with multi-tasking and working in a team environment
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of experience managing supply chain and/or logistics and/or transportation logistics for a large company or as a third-party logistics manager
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- 3+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International and Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel
- 1+ years of experience with documentation and certification requirements of dangerous goods in transportation in support to compliance initiatives
- Bachelor's degree

Summary pay range (Level 3): $ 81,900 - $ 95,100
