The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Product & Cyber Security Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA, El Segundo, CA or Berkeley, MO. This role will lead BT&E Product Security & Cyber Test organization in meeting today’s program cyber test needs while building the future cyber test capability. This organization provides Product Security (cyber) test & evaluation engineers in support of Commercial, Defense, Services and Innovation programs across the enterprise. The position will lead the Product Security & Cyber team across various programs supporting early gate, development and sustainment efforts for BT&E and integrate with BT&E and Business Partner program leadership, engineering, operations and BT&E capabilities to lead test proposal development and test program planning and execution for Product & Cyber Security test scope.
This position will engage throughout the product life cycle, ensuring program test strategies and objectives are effectively deployed.
Business travel to various Boeing domestic and international sites will be required as needed.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Manage team members performing engineering and technical activities in Product Security Test & Evaluation across the Enterprise including Commercial, Defense and Services
- Manage, develop and motivate a Product Security Test Team located at 3 major Boeing sites and 8 U.S. states
- Assign responsibilities, authority and holding accountability to management teams to execute cyber testing across the test product lifecycle
- Champion the execution and implementation of technical innovation and functional excellence projects applicable to the organization
- Ensure technical excellence through positive team culture, developing team members, providing mentorship and instilling a culture of accountability with bias for action
- Develop and execute plans to support and grow programs, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
- Effectively communicate Cyber Test Execution status at the proper level to peer managers, Senior Leaders and Executive Management
- Manage test program work statement, commitments, and performance to plan to include technical, cost and schedule by utilizing program management best practices and Test & Evaluation disciplines
- Foster a team culture of working together, with a foundation of Quality, Safety and Product Security
- Develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with program management, engineering and stakeholders, specifically Strategic Collaboration with the Enterprise Director of Cyber Test and the Product Security Functional Office
- Lead strategies while providing technical and leadership expertise and oversight into current priorities and ensuring future capabilities in Product Security and Distributed Test are implemented
- Partner in developing and executing integrated program plans that achieve established program goals while complying with processes, procedures, and priorities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience managing or leading geographically dispersed teams
- 5+ years of experience with Cyber Security, Product Security and/or Test & Evaluation
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically 15% of the time
- US military customer certification or appropriate certifications compliant with local country aviation regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in Laboratory and Flight Test
- Experience managing large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees
- FAA certification process experience
- Avionics Test & Evaluation experience

Summary pay range: $199,750 – $288,650
