Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Senior Procedures Coordinator to join our team in Seattle, WA.
This position will support certification of the 777-9 and 777-8F within the 787/777 Flight Technical group. The role is responsible for authoring, standardizing, and continuously improving Boeing flight crew procedures for the 777 and 787 families. It ensures that all procedures are operationally sound, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with Boeing’s safety and quality standards.
Working within Flight Technical & Safety, the Senior Procedures Coordinator serves as a key integrator between Flight Operations, Engineering, Human Factors, Training, and Regulatory Affairs, ensuring procedures are clear, consistent, and optimized for real-world airline operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads the authoring, revision, and validation of flight crew procedures (Normal, Non-Normal, and Supplementary Procedures) and ensures procedures are:
Operationally practical and intuitive
Consistent across Boeing models (777/787 commonality where applicable)
Aligned with flight deck philosophy and human factors principles
Standardization & Governance to maintain alignment with:
FCOM / QRH / AFM content
Airline operational use cases
Identify and eliminate inconsistencies, ambiguity, or unnecessary complexity
Partners with Electronic Checklist (ECL) team Integration team to:
Translate procedures into ECL checklist logic
Validate ECL behavior against procedure intent
Support improvements to ECL tools, architecture, and usability
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or higher
Experience with Technical Publications, aircraft systems or technical data
Do you have experience working with large cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Commercial pilot experience (current or former)
Experience with Boeing flight deck philosophy
FCOM, QRH, or AFM development
Flight operations / airline environment
Aircraft systems or engineering experience
Understanding of aircraft systems and flight deck operations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $141,950 - $192,050
