Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 4) to join the 737 Delivery Operations BPS team in Seattle or Renton, Washington.
This role is critical in enhancing the performance of our Delivery Centers across Seattle, Moses Lake, Renton Preflight, and Decorative Paint. The selected candidate will focus on developing and implementing strategic plans that drive cultural improvement, ensure compliance, and enhance employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Assessment:
- Conduct thorough assessments of manufacturing processes and practices against applicable standards and criteria
- Analyze compliance data to identify gaps and areas of risk
- Provide actionable feedback on assessment results to relevant stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements
Process Improvement:
- Lead complex group work sessions utilizing advanced Lean principles and tools to implement the Boeing Production System (BPS)
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop metrics and plans that align with business objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process improvements
Safety and Compliance Strategy:
- Drive a culture of safety and compliance within the organization
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee awareness and engagement in compliance and safety practices
- Work with leadership to establish safety and compliance metrics that align with organizational goals
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of safety protocols and compliance strategies to ensure ongoing effectiveness
- Facilitate and lead initiatives that promote employee involvement in safety, compliance, and process improvement efforts
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
- 5+ years of experience in operations analysis or operations research
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, Metrology, or Quality Management Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in driving compliance culture and risk mitigation
- Proficiency in the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with the One BPS system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Project management experience and ability to self-manage projects
- Flexibility to work variable shifts as required

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $106,200-$118,000
