Boeing Global Services Communications is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to support a critical portfolio of commercial services within BGS’ Cabin, Modifications, Maintenance & Digital Services business in Seattle, WA. or Long Beach, CA.
In partnership with senior business partners from the program and supporting functions, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategic, omni-channel internal, external and customer-focused communications plans.
You will lead the creation of tailored communication and branding strategies that align with enterprise and/or business unit goals, supporting a diverse services portfolio—from cabin product development and predictive maintenance to digital fleet optimization tools and innovative modification solutions, including Boeing Converted Freighters that enhance efficiency and extend the life of our airplanes.
The successful candidate will have experience in:
Developing and executing communications strategies aligned with company objectives.
Researching, designing, and implementing communications plans for major programs and initiatives.
Producing compelling, persuasive and effective communications materials, including but not limited to, videos, social media, news releases, internal stories, RTQs and executive talking points.
Identifying and engaging with external media and other storytelling venues to position stories that will promote key business priorities and active sales campaigns. Cultivating and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
Adopting new technologies, methods and tools to continuously evolve communication and engagement tactics with key stakeholders.
Prioritizing competing projects and requests, managing multiple initiatives where appropriate while maintaining balance and focus on top strategic objectives and coordinating across multiple organizations.
Building relationships at all levels and being comfortable advising senior leaders regarding strategy, risk, and opportunity as well as preparing leaders for media engagements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications or a related field
5+ years of experience in internal, executive or external communications support
Experience distilling complex, technical and abstract concepts into concise messaging and stories
Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Demonstrated 5+ years of experience working as part of a team or leading teams
Self-directed, works with high autonomy, takes initiative, mentors others
Video production experience
Familiarity with social media platforms
Event planning experience

Summary Pay Range: $119,850-$162,150
