Boeing Global Services (BGS) and Boeing Aviation Business Solutions (ABS) is a leading provider of management consulting services to aircraft operators around the world. We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced leader for our Aviation Optimization Consulting practice to develop and execute the consulting services strategy, go-to-market activities, and delivery of solutions aimed at creating a safe, efficient, and sustainable aviation ecosystem. This role serves as the primary consulting contact and trusted partner for clients, focusing on enhancing efficiency, profitability, and compliance across airlines, operators, airports, and their extended partner networks. This role can be located at any U.S. Boeing site.
Position Responsibilities:
- Drive consulting sales initiatives by identifying opportunities for new business through expansion of relationships with existing client, engaging with new clients, and developing and maintaining relationships with BCA and BGS sales.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of customer engagements, ensuring that projects are executed on-time, within scope, and meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Lead a matrix team of engagement leaders, cybersecurity subject matter experts, and suppliers to deliver comprehensive consulting services tailored to the needs of Aviation Business Solutions customers.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment and address any issues that arise during project execution.
- Create and oversee the creation and implementation of the Aviation Optimization Consulting strategy and account plan.
- Develop a portfolio go-to-market plan and lead sales efforts by engaging with client executives.
- Maintain and enhance customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by collaborating with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges, provide expert guidance, and executive-level support throughout the engagement process.
- Manage the practice’s profit and loss, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Create compelling business cases and devise investment strategies for practice growth.
- Guide the development and enhancement of consulting tools to improve service delivery.
- Conduct regular reviews of project progress, providing updates to the ABS Leadership Team and other stakeholders, and making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of consulting engagements delivered to clients, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to emerging threats.
- Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to enhance the delivery of consulting services and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional consulting services at client(s).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years Aviation Experience
Required Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation Optimization preferably as a former Director of Flight Operations, Director of Operations Control Center, or equivalent leadership role in an airline or aviation operation.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and diverse teams.
- Prior consulting experience, preferably in an Aviation Operations, or Airline Optimization
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- FAA/EASA or comparable Commercial Pilot or Flight Dispatcher certificate
- Broad experience within the airline/aerospace industry

- Ability to collaborate with customers to understand their business objectives and develop a delivery strategy to achieve their objectives.`

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: 168,300 – 227,700
