We are seeking a committed Transportation Analyst to join Boeing’s Global Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics Command Center team. This role supports enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units and is critical to the supply chain health, enabling production, and meeting various stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with 4PL partners to audit and monitor daily orders across all programs and transportation modes, balancing cost and schedule requirements.
Use a Transportation Management System (TMS) for transportation planning, exception handling, and day-to-day operational management.
Apply knowledge of multiple transportation modes, including air, ground, and ocean.
Support creation of statements of work to secure competitive, cost-effective transportation services.
Oversee and coordinate inbound and outbound communications to ensure organized workflow.
Analyze carrier performance metrics (cycle time, cost) and recommend process improvements.
Contribute to enterprise and cross-functional teams to enhance and evolve the TMS.
React to changing conditions, manage escalations, and implement the appropriate escalation procedures.
Serve as a point of contact with internal and external supply chain stakeholders.
Support escalation and resolution of loss and damage claims with carriers.
Develop transportation plans and solutions to increase TMS efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation
5+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
5+ years of experience with multi-tasking and working in a team environment
Experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills
5+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
5+ years of experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment in support of multiple organizations
5+ years of experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience working within a Transportation Management System with knowledge of freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International and Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel
1+ years of experience with documentation and certification requirements of dangerous goods in transportation in support to compliance initiatives.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
$92,450 - $107,750
