The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Employee Services Specialist to join our Employee Data Governance team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; or Mesa, AZ.
This position will report to Employee Data Governance and is responsible for unemployment insurance case work to include claims and state hearings. This position partners closely with our third-party supplier to mitigate financial risk to the Boeing Company.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, interprets, and maintains unemployment insurance related Human Resources processes for the purpose of determining necessary and appropriate action; instructs others in the use of specific unemployment insurance related Human Resource processes and procedures.
- Administer Employee Support Services by interpreting Federal & State regulations and advising employees and management on process guidelines and options.
- May serve as a peer counselor to new employees within the work group.
- Assist in determining the scope and purpose of project, development of a detailed statement of work that documents the deliverables, objectives, budget, activities required and schedule.
- Assist in defining the resources required to accomplish tasks.
- Assist in developing alternative plans as needed when faced with obstacles or setbacks.
- Assist in monitoring and providing status of assigned projects.
- Process data, provide and verify complete and accurate documentation for unemployment claims requests and hearing notices.
- Ability to organize, write, verbalize, and present information to internal and external parties including provide testimony during hearings.
- Independent decision making and knowing when to elevate barriers.
- Strives for continuous improvement.
- Ability to provide quality information to the State via Boeing Supplier.
- Quality information includes, but is not limited to HR data, interpretation of internal policies, procedures, and Boeing Process Instructions, Company process and expectations.
- Collaborate with Unemployment Insurance Supplier Representative in all aspects to minimize Boeing’s Unemployment Insurance risks/costs.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of HR policy and/or administration experience
- Experience reconciling artifacts for supplier distribution
- Experience consulting and coaching managers on unemployment insurance hearings process
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to prioritize work based on scheduling criticality

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $79,900 - $116,150
