The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Cybersecurity Assessment Specialist to join the team in Seattle WA; El Segundo, CA; or Hazelwood, MO.
The selected candidates will have a Cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) background and will be technical leaders who support Enterprise activities and Boeing customers throughout multiple computing domains. The Cybersecurity Specialists are responsible for determining the cybersecurity posture of lab environments, identifying risks, and will be working to propose appropriate mitigations and remediations.
Candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with peers and partners. This role requires the ability to collaborate with team members while also working independently. Successful candidates will have experience working within a specialized team of skilled and motivated individuals to achieve results. A positive attitude and self-motivated approach are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform security analysis of operational and development environments, threats, vulnerabilities and internal interfaces to define and assess compliance with accepted industry and government standards
Lead and implement discussions around the System Security Readiness Review (S2R2) process
Work with lab owners to identify Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and track to completion
Oversee configuration management of assigned systems; auditing systems to ensure security posture integrity
Lead staff with assessments and test/analysis data to document state of compliance with security requirements
Conduct risk assessments and investigations, execute appropriate risk mitigations, and oversee incident response activities
Conduct periodic hardware/software inventory assessments
Serve as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and programs
Act as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies
Interface with the appropriate government customers, suppliers, and company personnel to implement protective mechanisms and to ensure understanding of and compliance with cybersecurity requirements
Cybersecurity Certificate (i.e. CAP, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC)
Work with Operational Technology (OT)
Asses and document test or analysis data to show cyber security compliance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in CyberSecurity
1+ years of experience working in the Information Technology (IT) field
Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Cybersecurity Certificate (i.e. CAP, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC)
1+ years of experience working with Operational Technology (OT)
1+ years of experience assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cyber security compliance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $100,300 - $144,900
