The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Design & Integration Specialist with network design, integration and execution expertise to join our team in Seattle, WA.
The position will be a key member of a team whose focus is to build, test and deliver unique capabilities enabling disparate test sites or lab locations to seamlessly test in a distributed (network enabled) environment. This position requires integrating enterprise networks and information technology systems into distributed test solutions for Boeing, Boeing suppliers, and government entities. The position requires the willingness to adjust work schedule in consideration of international time zones to support System-of-Systems testing.
There may be domestic travel in support of deployment of Distributed Test & Evaluation capabilities.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior level Design & Integration Specialists.
Position Responsibilities:
Able to design and deploy network enabling Remote Test Monitoring tools within Boeing and non-Boeing locations domestically
Experience with project engineering and/or project management with running multiple parallel engagements
Gather customer requirements and translating into a set of standard deliverables
Experience with testing in general to include developing test plans, test procedures, and test reports
Interface and explain technical concepts to engineering and non-engineering customer representatives
Able to travel to domestic locations in support of implementing distributed Networks
Able to design and deploy various wired/wireless/trusted/untrusted Networks
Present complex network and Remote Test Monitoring tool designs to management and executive leadership
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Currently possess an Associate’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience working in a business & IT environment, partnering and strategizing on IT initiatives to drive transformation
Knowledge of network communication concepts, principles and architectures, associated with network planning, design, integration and maintenance as well as end-to-end knowledge of network transport technologies, systems, environments, services, protocols, performance monitoring and diagnostic analysis
Willing to travel domestically as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) or ability to obtain a US Security Clearance required. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Proven skills supporting labs and enclaves
Proven knowledge in network design, integration and implementation of network equipment for non-standard environments
Background in DFARS compliance
Experience with system integration between computing, information technology and industrial systems
Experience with requirements definition, systems integration and/or system test
Experience with wireless communication deployment in support of remote field test teams and locations
Ability to work with and understand systems and test engineers to ensure the network design can support the engineering requirements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Experienced level (Level 3): $119,850 – $162,150
Summary pay range for Senior level (Level 4): $146,200 – $197,800
