Information Digital Technology and Security is currently seeking a Chief of Staff – Senior Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA to support the Engineering & Product Support Chief Information Officer (CIO).
This role sits at the nerve center of a global IT engineering and product support organization supporting a 1,000+ person team with operations worldwide. Playing a critical part in advancing our North Star strategic ambitions, as Chief of Staff to the CIO, you will be a trusted thought partner and force multiplier—turning strategy into action by shaping priorities across engineering, platforms, and operations, and driving the CIO’s agenda with clarity and momentum. You will manage the operating rhythm, prepare executive and board-level communications, anticipate risks before they arise, and act as a proxy when needed.

This is a high-visibility, career-defining role that strengthens the Engineering & Product Support CIO office and accelerates senior leader development. The selected candidate will provide immediate operational leverage to the CIO while gaining enterprise exposure, executive mentorship, and hands-on experience turning strategy into measurable outcomes that advance our North Star strategic ambitions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as the CIO’s trusted advisor to synthesize issues, surface options, and recommend decision-grade actions
- Manage the CIO’s cadence (meetings, prep, readouts) and triage incoming requests to protect executive time
- Translate strategy into execution by creating plans with owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes aligned to strategic goals
- Prepare CIO communications including memos, talking points, and presentations
- Coordinate across the CIO’s leadership team to build alignment, remove blockers, and track commitments to closure
- Operate with discretion on sensitive matters
- Lead a Business Operations (BusOps) team (e.g., portfolio management, operations, risk management, director chief of staff) to support execution and continuity
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
- 10+ years of experience in an Information Technology, Digital, or Engineering environment
- 10+ years of experience with program and/or portfolio delivery
- 10+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
- 10+ years of experience managing metrics to drive data driven solutions/decisions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience as an executive-level chief of staff or Office of CIO
- 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Compliance, Risk Management and Finance
- 10+ years of experience with the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) goal-setting framework

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $204,850 – $277,150
