Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Base Management Specialist to join our In-Service Supply Chain team in Seal Beach, CA, Everett, WA or Seattle, WA.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess in-depth knowledge and experience with Supply Chain, procurement processes, obsolescence mitigation and will represent the Supply Chain at all levels and functions in support of the Out of Production Fleet Program(s). Must have the capability to lead in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Candidate will need strong business acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills to build and enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program. Adaptability and Technical knowledge are strongly preferred.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level or Senior Supply Base Management Specialist. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.
• Develop and execute company strategic business goals and objectives.
• Consult on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies.
• Formalize procurement requirements with customers and lead the supplier negotiation process.
• Prepare and execute negotiated documents.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage contract terminations.
• Work with suppliers and customers to resolve parts obsolescence issues
• Develop organization and company improvement plans.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Management
• 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
• 5+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
• 3+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
• 1+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement

Summary pay range (Level 3) – Seal Beach, CA: $ 99,900 - $116,000    

Summary pay range (Level 3) – Everett, WA: $ 99,900 - $116,000    

Summary pay range (Level 3) – Seattle, WA: $ 99,900 - $116,000    

Summary pay range (Level 4) – Seal Beach, CA: $116,100 - $134,950    

Summary pay range (Level 4) – Everett, WA: $116,100 - $134,950        

Summary pay range (Level 4) – Seattle, WA: $116,100 - $134,950
