The Boeing Precision Engagement Systems Team is currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team based in Seal Beach, CA.
We are looking for a chief engineer to oversee our Decision Support Service and ensure successful delivery of our products. Commitment to product quality and innovation are not just Boeing values, but critical for this leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and software systems design, experience managing teams, and experience working collaboratively with other organizations. Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing engineering strategies, leading project planning and execution, and ensuring the highest levels of quality across engineering activities. The successful candidate will directly influence program success.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive innovation and improve efficiency 
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery 
- Identify and mitigate risks and challenges to project success 
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute business strategies and plans 
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering team members to develop their skills and expertise 
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements 
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 
- This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated polygraph, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. citizenship 
- 7+ years of related work experience across complex software development efforts 
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role 
- Strong technical expertise in software systems 
- Proven track record of successful project delivery 
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills 
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in the team of systems engineers using scaled agile development process 
- Strong Communication, Adaptability, Decision Making, Customer Focus, Integrated Systems, Engineering Analysis, and Requirements/Tracing skillset

Summary pay range for Senior: $157,250 - $212,750
