Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Customer Support SRP Leader (Senior or Principal) to support the Fleet Chief Offices in Seal Beach, California.
This position may also support other fleets including cross model projects. The position is responsible for leading resolution of Safety and Economic Service-Related Problems (SRPs) to support the in-service fleet by working with Airplane Programs and across Customer Support teams.
Primary responsibilities:
Provide the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
Develop statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
Builds Integrated Project schedule to support the project based on complexity. Project schedule supported with resource-based planning to enable first pass quality. Proficient in project management tools (Project, Excel etc. and ability to use tools to tell a story).
Respond to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
Ensure any delinquencies have a risk identified to the overall project execution. Ability to clearly articulate a recovery plan, propose re-plan, demonstrate and instill urgency with stakeholders and be specific in any help requested.
Lead project execution to complete the work statement.
Identifies performance metrics.
Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.
Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.
Ensures parts readiness that supports the release of service information.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
8+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
LEVEL 5: 12+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong experience working with internal and external customers
Strong experience with BCA customer support processes
Ability to successfully collaborate and integrate with cross functional teams
Demonstrated customer knowledge and mindset
Ability to build an environment of transparency and trust
Strong project engineering experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $146,200 - $197,800
Summary Pay Range Principal (Level 5): $176,800 - $239,200
