Boeing Brazil is seeking a Engineering Technical Specialist, reporting to the Business Operations Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office.
The Engineering Technical Specialist will be the technical lead of a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) responsible for providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams in the effective use of engineering processes and CAD/CAM tools (It's not a management position). Your primary responsibilities will include:
Collaborating closely with engineers to understand their challenges.
Documenting issues in our Global Service Engagement Platform (GSEP).
Prioritizing issues and coordinating solutions to restore engineer productivity as quickly as possible.
This position will be aligned with our Global End User Support team and will connect with an existing network of Engineering Processes and Tools experts across the U.S. and our Global Design Centers.
Will work cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries to achieve engineering business objectives across all programs. Additionally, you will collaborate with Boeing Designated Experts (BDEs), Technical Fellows (ATF), functional teams, and IT to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, resolve problems, and propose changes to prevent recurrence.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for engineering tools and processes, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Assist users in navigating and utilizing engineering software and tools effectively.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify areas of improvements in processes and tools.
- Gather user feedback (Surveys) for continuous improvements on our services.
- Work closely with IT and engineering teams to ensure tools are functioning correctly and meet user needs.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to test and validate existing End to End flows, new capabilities before implementation in production.
- Create and maintain job aids content on tips and tricks that would improve End Users productivity.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
- Must have a degree in Engineering
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Proficiency in multiple tools such as: REDARS/CATIA V5/ENOVIA/IVT/CAMEO/DOORS/PDM/ITRACS/CSDT/ETAC.
- In depth experience with multiple engineering processes and tools related to electrical engineering and overall Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
