Boeing Global Services is a seeking a Senior Project Manager in this role, you will lead complex projects that support site business goals and objectives. You will serve as a change agent for continuous improvement and foster a culture of excellence. Demonstrating proficiency in industrial engineering, and project management methods according to industry standards (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, Lean Processes and ISO standards) is essential, along with maintaining all associated reporting. Position is located in San Antonio, TX.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as the primary project contact to identify key project schedules and updates.
Develop, integrate, and analyze schedule plans for high-reliability space electronics unit hardware development and delivery.
Lead weekly schedule reviews and drive weekly working meetings.
Utilize Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Industry best practices to increase efficiency.
Capture and summarize rationale for changes.
Develop standard operating procedures.
Provide in-depth coaching material processes to develop the next set of leaders.
Oversee, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for highly complex projects, programs, and change-driven activities, ensuring compliance with project management industry standards.
Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and refine the business case.
Develop and execute processes and strategies for integrating plans and schedules.
Consult and recommend best practices for integrated planning, scheduling, change management, and baseline management techniques and tools to management.
Serve as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Oversee the deployment of approved recommendations at the division, business unit, and/or enterprise level.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
5+ years of experience working with Project management skills, and ability to drive performance to plan and results
5+ years of experience managing complex project schedules and managing large scale program and projects
5+ years of experience with lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement practices, showcasing an ability to optimize processes and reduce waste in the manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Industrial Engineering Degree
Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification
More than 10 years of experience managing project schedules and utilizing standard project management tools
More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role
More than 5 years of experience in a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) or manufacturing/production environment

Summary pay range: $132,600 – $179,400
