Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimating and Pricing Specialist – Material Team Lead in Saint Charles, MO. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Saint Charles has a broad portfolio of programs and customers, both domestic and international. As a member of the Weapons Estimating team the successful candidate may have the opportunity to support all Direct Attack programs gaining broader experience and visibility.
The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who quickly learns new systems, estimating techniques and works efficiently both independently and on cross-functional teams. They will also have the ability to engage with customers and internal stakeholders, present to senior leadership, and consistently meet tight deadlines with first-time quality.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead development of complex material estimates with complex technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of the program
Lead development and application of pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques
Lead business proposals, evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal and substantiates estimates and pricing
Develop complex pricing models
Lead and perform complex analyses and provide recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.).
Lead the development/application/maintenance of unique and non-unique rates and factors for estimating
Lead compliance activities, policy and procedure development, deployment of new systems/tools, training development/delivery and internal audits
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher degree
5+ years’ of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
Experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) requirements/U.S. Government contracts
5+ years’ experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with and knowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Experiencing performing risk analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range (Senior, Level 4): $119,000 - $161,000
Summary Pay Range (Lead, Level 5): $ 144,500 - $195,500
