Virtual Reality (VR) Product Data Engineer (Experienced or Senior)
Rzeszów, SubcarpathiaJob Description
At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.
In this role you will support engineering decisions across product design, production system design, manufacturing, maintenance, and human safety by developing immersive Virtual Reality (VR) scenes and scenarios. You will plan and facilitate collaborative VR design-integration reviews, create and deliver concise report-out materials for engineering and leadership, and serve as the focal for the advanced visualization (Innovation) Lab — maintaining the hardware and software required to run effective VR reviews.
Mission: Airplane-level collaborative digital design integration and analysis to verify and validate that the product is integrated, interference-free, producible, maintainable, serviceable, and safe prior to design release — enabling First Pass Quality.
This role combines hands-on systems administration of the advanced visualization (Innovation) Lab with engineering knowledge to translate use cases into effective VR experiences, prepare and optimize CAD/CATIA and IVT data for real-time review, maintain the hardware and software environment, and deliver user training and knowledge transfer. The ideal candidate understands design engineering constraints and manufacturing processes and has practical experience integrating VR into engineering and manufacturing workflows. We are seeking excellent verbal and written English communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
