The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Software Technical Analyst (Associate or Experienced) to support our Vertical Lift Software Development Team located in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Software Engineers.
The Vertical Lift Software Development team develops software solutions for the V-22 Osprey and H-47 Chinook. You will work as a member of a growing team to implement and document software designs, analyze data, and generate metrics. Languages may include Ada, C, C++, C#, Python, and Java. Operating systems include Windows and Linux. Additional tools include Microsoft Office and the Atlassian suite of software development tools. Technical writing and organizational skills are highly valued.

Position Responsibilities:
Use software tools to generate software products (e.g., design documents, requirement specifications, software builds) and solve problems.
Collect and input process data to support software metrics.
Gather and analyze data to support assessment of software performance/function.
Support the integration of software components and hardware-software integration by executing test procedures.
Execute basic tests and document results to verify software performance and function.
Construct, document and test moderately complex software code using software development environment tools and programming languages.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
2+ years of experience with programming languages, tools, and applications
2+ years of experience with engineering development lifecycle tasks (requirements, design, software, test, and integration)
2+ years of experience working in engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
2+ years of experience with technical writing and/or process documentation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience learning new tools, following detailed processes and instructions, and communicating results in both written and verbal formats
Experience writing technical documentation.
Experience with Software Requirements, Development and Testing.
Experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, Python, Java, SQL, LabView, DOORS, Agile, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), or Git.
Travel:
Possible, less than 10%.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Associate: $51,850 - $70,150
Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $62,050 - $83,950
