The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer to join our team in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.
This position will support the Structures Lab Test capability here at Ridley Park. The position will include designing lab test structures for various components supporting a wide array of air vehicles. Test articles range includes large component design structures to coupon level testing.
The successful candidate should be able to receive requirements, develop test methodology, create design, assist with procurement and support test.
BT&E is currently hiring a broad range of experience levels including an Associate or Experienced level Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment
Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers
Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems
Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems
Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts. Works under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
1 or more years of education and/or experience in mechanical / electrical / troubleshooting
Willing to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 3: 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Experience with engineering and design software (i.e. CAD/3D packages (UG/NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.)
Experience with Vertical Lift platforms
Experience with Structural Analysis and Design

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Associate Level: $90,950 -$123,050
Summary pay range Experienced Level: $113,350 - $150,650
