Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) to join our 737 Final Assembly Team in Renton, Washington.
We are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record of leading change, inspiring others, and challenging the status quo in this role, you will be driving improvements within the program to ensure teams are prepared for and continuously improving with the goal of zero injuries, zero defects, and zero FOD. The selected candidates will have the unique opportunity to transform the work we do toward that end, develop our teams, and integrate across organizations and the enterprise. The selected candidates will be leading and mentoring a team of managers with employees performing a variety of quality investigation functions.
Position Responsibilities:
• Leading and mentoring a team of managers and employees.
• Leading process improvement and BPS activities for quality in the 737-Renton factory.
• Leading the day to day activities for a group of quality teams in final assembly for a 737.
• Partnering with other functions to ensure processes used to manage, develop and improve areas are effective and integrated
• Developing and executing business plans, policies and procedures.
• Monitoring and acting to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams.
• Providing education and coaching on connecting the quality systems and processes
• Understanding business objectives, strategies, and conditions affecting all areas of the program.
• Developing and maintaining partnering relationships with program leaders, quality stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
• Communicate and convey quality status and actions taken to improve the area with the upper leadership.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years' experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with executives, managers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
5+ years' experience in a leadership role leading teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
5+ years' experience leading and influencing people in a Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing organization
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process.
Experience with the One BPS system
The ability to manage, develop and motivate employees.
Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner.
Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures.
Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationship, Ethical Leadership.
Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $143,650 - $194,350
