Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Superintendent (Level M) to lead parts of BCA's 737 Final Assembly team in Renton, Washington on 3rd shift.
A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
5+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends an overtime (primarily third shift)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in using Lean principles
5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams
5+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, quality, delivery & cost commitments, and utilizing the One Boeing Production System
5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment

Shift:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $174,600 - $213,400
