As an Inspector Component Test Technician, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of critical aerospace components. Position Responsibilities:
Determine work assignments based on the schedule date on orders, priority tags, or team leader instructions.
Obtain appropriate engineering drawings and test documents for assigned jobs when not included with the work order.
Set up and perform bench tests or automatic tests as required per work orders, test documents, and engineering instructions.
Conduct tests using various computer systems, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters to evaluate components.
Troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits and hardware, making adjustments or repairs as necessary.
Instruct and check the work of others as requested by the team leader.
Write reports, maintain work logs, and document activities related to areas and equipment as required.
Perform receiving inspections and manage repair returns from suppliers.
Develop, modify, or build temporary tools and workarounds to troubleshoot systems effectively.
Handle and protect components and assemblies according to shop procedures and drawing requirements.
Maintain test equipment through periodic maintenance and monitor certification dates.
Maintain personal and tool certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and repair computerized test systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety regulations.
Pack electronic equipment for travel according to drawings and Boeing specifications.
Check work after each operation to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Submit completed or reworked jobs for inspection as required.
Contact team leaders, supervisors, or engineers when assistance is needed regarding drawings or paperwork discrepancies.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, suppliers, and customers to conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions on non-conforming components.
Develop, modify, and repair associated bench test fixtures and equipment as needed.
Collect and analyze data related to component failures to identify trends and proper test methods.
Write or modify computer programs used to assist in the testing of aircraft functional components.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs. to 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience interpreting various Engineering test data for Avionic and Electrical components or equivalent education in avionics and electrical components.
3+ years of experience troubleshooting avionic equipment, general electronics, and/or aircraft systems.
1+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications
1+ years of experience handling chemicals and/or hazardous materials.
Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to wear eye, hearing, foot, hand, respirator and other personal protective equipment/safety gear at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
Experience in analyzing software and circuits within Avionics System Components.
Typical Education & Experience:
High school graduate or GED preferred.

Summary pay range: $33.00/hr. - $55.65/hr.
