The Boeing Company is seeking a Communications Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Renton, WA.

About the role: You will join the dynamic editorial team behind Boeing News Now (BNN) — our flagship employee news network. You will help craft and guide the flow of news and information across an ecosystem of platforms, including a daily news digest, websites, targeted newsletters, digital signage and mobile app.
Position Responsibilities:
What you’ll do
Collaborate to develop and edit clear, compelling content that connects with audiences and answers the critical question: “Why does this matter?”
Ensure editorial quality, accuracy and AP style across all materials. Knowledge and use of Smart Brevity a plus
Write attention‑grabbing headlines and teasers and edit body copy to draw readers in and drive engagement
Become an expert in our advanced publishing tools to seamlessly integrate text, visuals and multimedia into polished content packages
Use AI tools to streamline workflow and improve relevance while maintaining editorial standards
Build and apply audience metrics to optimize content reach and impact

This role also requires close collaboration with colleagues in social media, media relations, business units, and with international teammates to ensure a high standard of strategic, impactful storytelling that highlights Boeing’s people, products and purpose.
Basic qualifications (required skills/experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years’ experience creating and guiding content, strong writing and copy-editing skills, and use of images and video in content packages
3+ years’ experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
3+ years’ experience distilling complex, technical and abstract concepts into concise messaging and stories
Preferred Qualifications (desired skills/experience):
5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience using good judgment in guiding and crafting content; including the use of modern AI tools
Experience in corporate communications, public relations or news media
Experience producing, writing, and editing communications plans, strategies and deliverables
Experience supporting executives and/or senior leaders

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Level 3: $90,100 – $121,900
Summary pay range for Level 4: $115,600 - $156,400
