The Boeing Brand Experiences (BBE) - Merchandising and Experience Team plays a vital role in supporting our internal venues by developing, recommending, and delivering merchandise solutions to our internal customers.
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Assistant Buyer to join our team in Renton, WA. This Specialist will be a self-starter, well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines and commitments. The ideal candidate is customer-focused with the ability to engage and communicate effectively across all service levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports with product selection, monitors product performance, and maintains a balanced and optimized merchandise internal catalogs
Assists with discontinuing or suspending Stock Keeping Unit (SKUs) and making necessary updates to internal catalogs (e.g., copy changes)
Supports price changes by updating retail, cost, and year levels as needed
Creates new SKUs and ensure they are published accurately
Assists internal teams in responding to customer service inquiries by updating relevant tools and systems to provide accurate and timely order status information to customers
Supports with the release of Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), cancels backorders, and maintain the R&R Recognition Program Exception Report
Supports internal projects and requests through quoting, development, production, shipping, and delivery stages
Assists with writing and tracking purchase orders using the Counterpoint POS system
Provides input to BBE internal teams on operational improvements related to order fulfillment
Collaborates closely with BBE internal teams, marketing, IT, and operations to deliver the expected employee experience
Researches and monitors the existing vendor base and industry trends to identify new product opportunities
Builds and maintains strong vendor relationships to leverage Boeing as a preferred customer, securing favorable pricing, exclusive offerings, and markdown/claims assistance
Monitors vendor performance and ensure compliance with BBE processes, including trademark usage, sample handling, defective claims, shipping, and routing guidelines
Communicates product and sales trends with the merchandise team
Attends local trade shows and industry events, as needed, to stay informed on product trends and build relationships with suppliers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
1+ years of experience in a role that required the capability to work both independently and collaboratively
1+ years of experience in a customer service role
1+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
1+ years of experience in a role that required attention to detail
1+ years of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with data analysis and problem resolution
Experience with the CounterPoint Point of Sale system
Capability to identify and implement process improvements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for: $59,500 – $80,500
