Boeing’s Portland Fabrication site is currently seeking a talented and creative Business Operations Specialist to join our Business Operations team.
The Business Operations Specialist we're seeking is energized by learning, inspired by building improved processes and solutions, is a uniquely motivated self-starter, and consistently motivates others to action, leading by example. You work well with people across organizations with varying backgrounds and experience to gather information, make decisions / recommendations, and drive improvements.
This fast-paced role allows for creative process development and deployment, while integrating with a diverse cross-functional team. Day-to-day assignments may vary in complexity and priority supporting all levels of the organization’s strategy requiring a proactive problem solver.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partners with organization leaders on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives, and initiatives
- Establish and maintains Operating Rhythm including meeting architecture, facilitation, and weekly visibility.
- Develops and facilitates executive level briefings.
- Develops reports, presentations, and communications for senior leadership.
- Leads the development of standard tools and processes.
- Manage agenda and facilitate integrated meetings.
- Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendation.
- Evaluates alternatives and makes recommendations to the team for constant improvement.
- Assists in the interface with the executive team and the Business Operations network to keep both apprised of key issues, actions and upcoming events.
- Networks with other MIS Business Operation Specialists across the enterprise to share best practices.
- Meet with leadership to gain approval, track decision records and effectively communicate to greater team
- Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in Program or Project Management
- 3+ years of experience in writing communications for senior executives and other leaders
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience in visual storytelling, internal team communication, and presentation development

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Level 3 $96,000-$103,000
Level 4 $118,000- $128,000
