Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Numerical Control Programmer to join our team in Portland Oregon.
Our Team is currently hiring for a range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Level Numerical Control Programmer.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise to support the design and manufacture of parts and assemblies.
- Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
- Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies.
- Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
- Works under general supervision.
Work Authorization Statement:
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Experience using DMIS, CATIA V5, Spatial Analyzer, Metrologic Basic Scripting, Calypso or equivalent, achieving intermediate to advanced skill levels.
- Metrology experience including the application of GD&T.
- 3+ years of experience using MS Office Tools, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience using DMIS and/or Calypso, achieving intermediate to advanced skill levels.
- 1+ years of experience using Spatial Analyzer (SA), or similar metrology software.
- Experience with portable metrology/measurement (analysis and/or measurement).
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Associate Level: $72,250- $97,750
Mid-Level: $90,950- $123,050
