Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Business Development and Strategy (BD&S) is seeking a Senior Field and Customer Engagement (FACE) Representative for the Field Office. This role can be based in based in Patuxent River, MD (preferred) or Arlington, VA.
This is a highly visible position where you will have the opportunity to build a long-term career with BDS, Business Development (BD), and Field Operations while moving the business forward and enhancing shareholder value.
You will represent all BDS, Boeing Global Services (BGS), Phantom Works (PW) and Boeing Subsidiaries projects, programs, products, and capabilities for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps (USMC).
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain unparalleled customer understanding to support BDS/BGS/PW business and represent The Boeing Company to key NAVAIR Portfolio Acquisition Executives (PAE) and PMA program managers in the Patuxent River area.
- Lead the development of customer relationships necessary to better understand the customer’s requirements, enduring needs, and decision-making processes through daily engagement and establishment of transparent relationships with PAEs, their deputies, and NAVAIR program managers.
- Guide tactical, operational, and strategic focus for Boeing’s support of Naval priorities by developing an understanding of BDS and BGS products and services.
- Convey the company’s capabilities to the customer and communicate customer requirements to company management and senior leaders to provide advocacy and support for Boeing business campaigns within the NAVAIR area of responsibility.
- Provide access for Boeing executives and program managers to the Naval customer aboard NAS Patuxent River.
- Support focus programs: MQ-25, F/A-XX, FA-18 E/F and EA-18G, FA-18 Service Life Modification (SLM), Super Hornet/Growler sustainment and modifications, P-8, V-22 (Navy CMV-22, USMC MV-22), T-7, T-45, unmanned systems, training, and weapons including JDAM-Long Range, Laser JDAM, Harpoon, SLAM-ER, and Phantom Works efforts.
- Actively lead and participate in local area industry groups/associations, and local community professional associations as required to enhance Boeing’s image as a good neighbor and community partner.
- Manage office administrative functions at the Boeing Patuxent River (Wildewood) office to ensure alignment with Boeing facilities management.
- Participate in strategy meetings with Boeing leadership to guide company investment, programmatic adjustments, and future efforts.
This position is expected to be onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required; a U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience working within or with Military or DoD customers
- Experience interfacing directly with senior military officials and executives
- Experience with the DoD acquisition process and the role of the COCOM (Combatant Commander) in the requirements setting and acquisition process
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with Government/DoW/Navy budget, requirements or acquisition processes
- Comprehensive experience with the Naval Aviation Enterprise and operational command expertise. Major command experience preferred

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $164,050 - $221,950
