The Product Support Engineering (Associate or Mid-Level) position in Oklahoma City, OK will be part of the organization that provides sustainment and modification support to the USAF (United States Air Force) to help maintain and sustain its fleet of Boeing 747 aircraft. This position will be a part of the VC-25A Airframe team that evaluates airframe requirements, researches equipment, parts, materials and tools to support sustainment and maintenance; resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues; and work closely with the Air Force and Government customers to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet.
The successful candidate will evaluate aircraft and component Service Literature (i.e. Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, etc.); assist with scheduling upon receipt of Air Force disposition; and resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet. This position will also interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, and review service literature for effectivity and applicability to the fleet. This position will work horizontally with other functions across The Boeing Company.
Position Responsibilities:
Be a part of a multi-disciplined and cross geographical team to ensure customer contractual requirements are met.
Prepares routine communications and presentation material for dissemination to internal and external customers.
Evaluates engineering changes based on customer requirements and proposes program changes and manages implementation of changes
Maintain awareness of operational activities and aircraft on the ground maintenance events.
Provide support for operator recovery plans for operational disruptions due to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
Conducts research on advanced technical, operational and quality issues
Defines, evaluates and maintains engineering supportability, operability and maintainability requirements for products, systems and programs.
Research and analyze systems and components to identify issues and corrective actions.
Supports a wide range of technical and operational issues associated with depot maintenance and repair.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years of experience in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals
3+ years of experience working with aircraft drawings, specifically commercial derivative aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
(Level 3): 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
Service literature experience on 747 aircraft, specifically USAF 747 fleets

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Associate Level (Level 2): $68,000 – $92,000
Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $82,450 – $111,550
