Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a C-32/C-40 Service Engineering Manager (Level K) in our Service Engineering organization to join the Executive Transport & Surveillance (ET&S) team in Oklahoma City, OK, which provides engineering services for the C-32A & C-40B/C executive commercial derivative aircraft fleet. This position will report to the Executive Transport Senior Service Engineering Manager in Oklahoma City, OK to partner with Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) to execute select recurring services under the Engineering Support Services (ESS) contract. We are seeking a multifaceted individual with a collaborative mindset and strategic vision to model the culture of BGS, while being deeply committed to our Air Force C-32A & C-40B/C customer.
In this role you will be responsible for leading a collaborative diverse team to evaluate changes in the commercial 757 & 737 fleets and make appropriate recommendations for the Air Force C-32A & C-40B/C customer using a commercial “lead the fleet” maintenance concept. You will lead the team to present these recommendations to the customer through the Service Action Review Board (SARB) for disposition and track incorporation of customer approved items. Furthermore, your team will provide technical support as needed for maintenance and logistics activities also performed by Boeing under the Contractor Logistics Services (CLS) contract. In this role you will also assist the Program with identifying other potential recurring sustainment services BGS could provide in support of our Air Force C-32A & C-40B/C customer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse team to evaluate changes in the commercial 757 & 737 fleets and make appropriate recommendations for implementation
- Host technical concurrence and SARB meetings with our customer for disposition of Boeing recommendations
- Maintain aircraft configurations by tracking SARB approved items through completion on each aircraft
- Assist with the development of complete depot (C-Check) maintenance packages and review resulting depot completion data for incorporation accuracy
- Assist with inventory reviews of part interchangeability and acceptable use on the customer fleets
- Utilize best practices to help develop new execution strategies effectively, efficiently, with technical surety, and the highest quality achievable in order to maintain a high customer trust environment
- Discover new opportunities and solutions for problems and/or processes by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking to improve performance and synergy across the recurring and non-recurring ESS activities along with the CLS contract
- Identification and management of Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO) related to provided recurring engineering activity under the ESS contract
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working with multiple engineering, logistics, and/or other business disciplines necessary to successfully execute projects
- 5+ years of experience working with military commercial derivative aircraft
- 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years of experience in RIO processes and tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, or foreign equivalent
- Experience with 737 and/or 757 military commercial derivative aircraft
- Experience navigating the Enterprise Standard Gated Process (EGSP)
- Experience working directly with customers, with a focus on military customers
- Understanding and application of RIO management along with use of the Boeing Opportunity Risk and Issue System (BORIS) tool
- Experience working with support functions such as Engineering, Supplier Management, Finance, Integrated Scheduling, and Contracts
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in senior leadership briefings
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products and other Boeing tools including Multiple Applications for Technical Resource and Information Xchange (MATRIX), Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval System (REDARS), and Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO)

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $114,750 – $155,250
