The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer Support Analyst to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK, specializing in 3D scanning and metrology.
Build your career by 3D scanning aircraft parts, interfaces, and large area to help drive efficiency across the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced scanning devices, including the Creaform HandiScan Black Elite and the Surphaser 75HSX, as well as proficiency in the Polyworks software ecosystem. This role will primarily support the scanning of military aircraft and commercial derivative aircraft, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain 3D scanning devices, including the Creaform HandiScan Black Elite and Surphaser 75HSX, to capture accurate geometric data of aircraft.
- Utilize the Polyworks software ecosystem for data processing, analysis, and visualization of scanned data.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure scanning processes meet project specifications and standards.
- Conduct quality checks on scanned data to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of scanning activities, including data analysis and findings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for scanning and metrology processes.
- Support fieldwork and laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in 3D scanning technologies and metrology practices.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, or a related field
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in 3D scanning and metrology, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in operating 3D scanning devices, specifically the Creaform HandiScan Black Elite and Surphaser 75HSX.
- Strong experience with Polyworks software for data processing and analysis.
- Solid understanding of metrology principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with military and commercial aircraft scanning projects.
- Familiarity with additional scanning technologies and software tools.
- Certification in metrology or related fields is a plus.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $68,000 – $92,000
