BCA Fabrication South Carolina is seeking a Senior Lean Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support across Boeing South Carolina sites. This position requires a Safety and People First focus and leadership for all improvement activities.
The primary reporting location will be one of the Fabrication South Carolina sites (North Charleston or Orangeburg, SC) with 20% travel to additional sites (Airport Campus, North Campus, West Campus).
This position has direct responsibility for the Line Side Control Center (LSCC) and leading deployment and maturity of the Boeing Production System (BPS)/Lean strategy across Fabrication South Carolina, which is inclusive of the Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC), Fabrication South Carolina Aerostructures (FSCA), and Emergent Operations South Carolina/Cutter Tooling Services Center (EOSC/CTSC). You will also interface with 787 Program leaders to ensure alignment with the BPS/Lean strategy and process improvements at all sites.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage, lead, support and coach Senior and First line leaders in BPS principles, as they teach and coach BPS/Lean to their teams through formal instruction and facilitated training (Leader Led Transformation)
Teach and coach Team Leads and production members in BPS/Lean, including how to apply principles & practices in their work according to BPS/Lean standards
Utilize Teammate Effectiveness Assessment (TEA) to assist and guide team development
Lead the Oobeya room development and strategy for leadership problem solving
Provide advanced Lean / Process Improvement knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects that improve organizational efficiency
Apply process management and process improvement (BPSM) techniques to resolve production and quality concerns
Gather data, analyze and develop recommendations for implementation of new systems and processes
Facilitate work teams, provide necessary training, and lead problem resolution and process improvement activities
Analyze processes and support Boeing Production System problem solving, develop and document innovative solutions in support of People First, Quality, Safety, Delivery, Innovation, and Cost goals
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles in a production system
3+ years of experience leading others in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience using process improvement and problem solving methodologies
Willingness to work a variable shift as needed for the business
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of demonstrated coaching and leading through influence
Effective analytical, communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills
3+ years of leading projects requiring integration across business units and multiple functions
Self starter with high level of emotional intelligence and integrity
AIW or VSM Certified
Proficiency with MS Office applications

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $132,300 - $161,700
