Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is currently looking for an Infrastructure Technology Senior Manager to join their team in either North Charleston, SC or Seattle, WA.
The selected candidate should have a well-rounded and deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure and architecture, with a focus on the unique requirements of advanced large enterprise systems.
This important role ensures that our server and database infrastructure environments are adequately prepared to host software specific to a customer’s requirements, ensures that server-based and database sourced work statement is adequately satisfied by our vendors, and serves as Product Manager for server-based and database information technology services.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and tactical guidance for both server and database products
Oversee enterprise server and database operations 24x7 support, maintaining compliance and uptime requirements
Oversee sourced server and database work for the enterprise, ensuring external service providers are adequately satisfying requirements
Act as point of escalation for any server or database related issues that cannot be resolved at the team level
Oversee two teams of professionals supporting various components of server and database operations and product management
Own and oversee the operation of approximately 50 server and database related SOX (Sarbanes/Oxley) infrastructure controls
Maintain 7x24 availability for escalations as needed
Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and fiscal compliance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
10+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
10+ years of experience within Information Technology
10+ years of experience in SOX, SOX audits, process improvements, and policy creation
10+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions (e.g. client/server, storage, network, cloud, information security concepts, etc.)
10+ years of experience with computing networking, storage, database concepts and architectures
10+ years of experience in system administration and database support
10+ years of experience managing or leading the planning and execution of programs and projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with system admin and database concepts and controls
Experience with product and vendor management
Experience with large budgets and contract management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $191,250 – $277,150
