Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Dreamlifter Propulsion Program Manager to support Dreamlifter Operations based out of North Charleston, South Carolina or Plano, Texas.
Dreamlifter Operations is seeking an experienced propulsion professional to lead and develop our engine management program. A successful candidate has years of airline or MRO engine management experience. The role requires the ability to manage engines in overhaul shop including tasks such as technical analysis of parts, parts disposition, manual and service bulletin interrogation and supplier communication. In addition to shop visits, this role requires the ability to negotiate engine and parts procurement using an extensive industry network. This person must have experience working with and presenting to executive leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
- Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.
- Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
- Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.
- Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.
- Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.
- Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Manages work movement plans.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing North Charleston South Carolina.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 8+ years of airline or specialized under wing services experience
- 8+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams, and the creation and presentation of materials to multi-levels of leadership
- 8+ years of experience interacting with suppliers, conducting supply chain management operational performance reviews, and suppliers
- 8+ years of experience in leading complex teams, process improvement and complex problem solving
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- 5+ years of leadership and program management experience
- 5+ years of executive presentation experience at the Senior Leadership level or above
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 8+ years of experience working directly with airline operations roles
- 8+ years of operations experience

Summary pay range: $137,000 – 186,000
