Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to join our team located in New Orleans, LA!
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance.
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
- Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 10+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
- 5+ years of experience working with Defense contracts
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Currently hold quality auditor certification from an industry recognized certifying course
- Experience in program planning, project management
- Experience performing compliance monitoring and policy assessments/audits
- Experience conducting site regulatory compliance audits
- Experience in determining and executing strategic/tactical direction
Travel:
This position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD: $140,250 - $189,750
